    Artefact LAN Products

    ARTEFACT/NetBatch V2.1
    NetBatch, software to set up batchservers, allows distributed proces-
    sing of jobs within a Novell LAN v. 2.1x and 3.x. Users can continue
    with other activities during the job's execution and receive a message
    after completion. At execution a job will use the environment and
    rights of its owner (!). Jobs may be executed automatically (e.g. back-
    ups). NetBatch comes with facilities to account for connection times,
    to synchronize multiple batchservers and to record and playback input
    files (e.g. a dBase report). NetBatch is well suited for plot and
    compile jobs (it reduces the necessary number of licences of a
    compiler). NetBatch is priced at $895 per file server.

    ARTEFACT/NetMonitor V2.7
    NetMonitor enables a Novell user to communicate with and to look at or
    take over another station, even from within application programs. Thus
    without leaving your workplace or your application you can: operate
    more than one station at the same time, aid a colleague on the
    network, send your screen to some or to all stations, observe other
    screens and possibly give instructions, remotely reach all LAN stations
    through a dial-up modem-link. NetMonitor is resident and fast (IPX,
    direct video RAM reads and writes). It aims at system managers, common
    users (talk facility) and teachers, especially with MultiMon.
    NetMonitor is priced at $495 per file server.

    ARTEFACT/MultiMon Plus V1.21
    MultiMon Plus is a bundle of NetMonitor and MultiMon, enabling a Novell
    user to observe (parts of) screens of other workstations mapped in
    windows on his workstation's screen. So a MultiMon user can work in a
    window connected to a certain station and concurrently monitor the
    events at stations in other windows. Scrolling and positioning of a
    window can be controlled by the user. With MultiMon teachers can both
    observe the students' screens and show corrections on mistakes to all
    the students. MultiMon is not resident and has a "Novell like" user
    interface. MultiMon Plus is priced at $695 per file server (NetMonitor
    included).

    ARTEFACT/NetGuard V1.8
    NetGuard is a small TSR to protect workstations and local drives in a
    Novell LAN from unauthorized use. The supervisor can use the Novell-
    like menu utility Setguard to restrict the use of local drives per
    station, user and group by issueing appropriate rights for reading,
    writing or formatting. A station lock may be activated by pressing a
    Hotkey or automatically after a specified period of keyboard
    inactivity: NetGuard will blank the screen and lock the keyboard until
    the current user's password is supplied (active programs will
    continue). NetGuard is priced at $495.

    ARTEFACT/NetUtilities V2.1
    The NetUtilities are tools for management and reporting in a Novell
    LAN. They offer a command-line (sometimes more practical) alternative
    to most of the functions incorporated in Netware's Menu Utilities. The
    set contains commands to list and generate reports on the objects in
    the Netware environment; to add, change or delete objects in the system
    binderies; to archive and to restore all trustee-information; and many
    more... Based on these tools one may create meta-commands,
    incorporating special features and combinations, just as is possible
    with standard tools in the UNIX environment. The NetUtilities are
    priced at $245.


    Artefact Memory Products

    ARTEFACT/SpacePlus V1.38
    SpacePlus, one of Artefact's memory solutions to overcome DOS memory
    limits, is a non-resident program to load .COM type files above the 1
    Mbyte boundary on 286/386/486 computers with at least 64Kb of extended
    memory. Thus SpacePlus adds up to 64Kb memory to the base 640Kb DOS
    memory pool. Especially Novell LAN users with AT-type workstations can
    profit from SpacePlus as it will enable them to load IPX or NET3/NET4
    in the High Memory Area, thus effectively freeing a chunk of con-
    ventional DOS memory. Combined with Artefact's NeatPlus, the RamRom or
    the RamPlus/2 card DOS memory gains could even be more substantial.

    ARTEFACT/RamRom card V2.16
    The RamRom card is one of Artefact's Memory Solutions, created to
    overcome DOS memory limits, especially in LAN environments. RamRom is a
    halfsize ISA card to insert RAM above the 640Kb boundary. RamRom's
    utilities will add this RAM to the DOS memory pool and load TSRs (such
    as IPX, NETx, NETBIOS or other LAN drivers) device drivers (e.g. ANSI,
    MOUSE), and others (e.g. FILES, BUFFERS & LASTDRIVE allocation) at
    arbitrary places above this 640Kb boundary. RamRom is priced at $245
    including software (excluding SRAM).

    ARTEFACT/RamPlus/2 card V2.16
    The RamPlus/2 card is one of Artefact's Memory Solutions, created to
    overcome DOS memory limits, especially in LAN environments. RamPlus/2
    is an MCA card to insert RAM above the 640Kb boundary. RamPlus/2's
    utilities will add this RAM to the DOS memory pool with a 16Kb starting
    address resolution and load TSRs (such as IPX, NETx, NETBIOS or other
    LAN drivers) device drivers (e.g. ANSI, MOUSE), and others (e.g. FILES,
    BUFFERS & LASTDRIVE allocation) at arbitrary places above this 640Kb
    boundary. RamPlus/2 is priced at $295 including software (excluding
    SRAM).

    ARTEFACT/NeatPlus V2.22
    NeatPlus is one of Artefact's Memory Solutions, created to overcome
    DOS memory limits, especially in LAN environments. NeatPlus is software
    to set up extra RAM (shadow RAM) above the 640Kb boundary on computers
    (286/386s) based on the Neat Chip set. NeatPlus will add this RAM to
    the DOS memory pool with a 16Kb starting address resolution and load
    TSRs (such as IPX, NETx, NETBIOS or other LAN drivers) device drivers
    (e.g. ANSI, MOUSE), and others (e.g. FILES, BUFFERS & LASTDRIVE
    allocation) at arbitrary places above this 640Kb boundary. NeatPlus is
    priced at $295 including software (excluding SRAM).

    Artefact's Public Domain is a set of utilities for use on Novell LANs.
    The set contains: NETMAP V1.4 is a utility for displaying and
    traversing a LAN floor plan; MEMORY V1.0 checks a computer's
    configuration, tests for RAM or ROM and shows possible extensions above
    the 640 Kb boundary; SHOW V1.0 is a lister and editor with product
    sheets covering Artefact's Novell LAN and Memory Products; COMMAND.VAP
    offers a restricted 'DOS'-environment on a dedicated Netware V2.1x
    fileserver. Artefact's Public Domain is priced at $25, (shipping and
